Open Studios Pottery Workshops with Gary Hambleton
In addition to his exhibition, Gary will be sharing his knowledge with hands-on workshops. Learn the basics of hand-building or delve deep with a two day tutorial on throwing large vessels.
Basics of Handbuilding
Step into the world of clay with ceramic artist Gary Hambleton. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of handbuilding – from pinch pots and coiling to joinery and surface texturing. Guided by Gary’s calm and encouraging approach, you’ll create your own expressive vase to be professionally fired and glazed. Perfect for beginners and clay enthusiasts alike.

Coil & Throw & Multi piece throwing
