Sales and Marketing Manager

$85,000 – $95,000 per year

Are you passionate about wine, people, and storytelling—and ready to take the next step in your career? Happs Wines is looking for a hands-on, motivated Sales and Marketing Manager to help shape our next chapter.

This is a broad and varied role, ideal for someone with experience in marketing or sales who’s ready to grow. You’ll be supported by a marketing assistant, an external consultant, and work closely with the owners in a collaborative, creative environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

·       Contribute to and execute sales strategies across DTC, wholesale, and export channels.

·       Support cellar door operations and staff engagement.

·       Help manage wine club communications, retention, and growth.

·       Build relationships with distributors, retailers, and export partners.

·       Assist with sales reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis.

Marketing Strategy

·       Collaborate with external specialists on digital and AI-driven campaigns.

·       Maintain a cohesive brand presence across all platforms.

·       Manage content for website, social media, and EDMs.

·       Coordinate events, sponsorships, and wine submissions.

·       Help create compelling marketing collateral and track ROI.

Product & Brand Development

·       Contribute to new product concepts, naming, and label design.

·       Align marketing with vintage planning and winemaking milestones.

What You Bring

·       Some experience in sales and marketing (wine or FMCG preferred).

·       A passion for wine and customer engagement.

·       Familiarity with CRM and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Klaviyo).

·       Strong communication and organisational skills.

·       Willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow with the team.

Bonus Skills

·       Knowledge of export regulations and certifications.

·       Experience entering new markets (e.g., India, China).

·       Familiarity with AI tools for marketing and CRM.
