Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned creative, this immersive session invites you to bring personal memorabilia and weave it into a tactile, luminous artwork using encaustic techniques.
In this workshop, you will
- Discover the expressive possibilities of working with hot wax, layering in family photos, letters, maps, and found objects.
- Learn to incorporate mixed media elements like papers, pastels, and textural materials into your work.
- Be guided through technical processes while being encouraged to explore and personalize your piece.
- Leave with a meaningful artwork – a visual memoir to treasure or gift.
