Explore the evocative world of encaustic wax while honouring your roots. In this heartfelt workshop, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind 30x30cm encaustic painting inspired by your family history.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned creative, this immersive session invites you to bring personal memorabilia and weave it into a tactile, luminous artwork using encaustic techniques.

In this workshop, you will

• Discover the expressive possibilities of working with hot wax, layering in family photos, letters, maps, and found objects.
• Learn to incorporate mixed media elements like papers, pastels, and textural materials into your work.
• Be guided through technical processes while being encouraged to explore and personalize your piece.
• Leave with a meaningful artwork – a visual memoir to treasure or gift.
