This is our first-ever varietal Graciano and we’re keeping it close – only available to our wine club members. Usually blended with Tempranillo, this Spanish-born grape gets the full spotlight it deserves in this adventurous release.
Graciano demands attention with its deep, vibrant colour and lifted aromas of cherry, mulberry, violets and truffle. Hints of spice and fresh herb invite you in, then the palate takes you on a ride – juicy cherry and mulberry with a twist of underripe plum, a hit of dark chocolate and a splash of liqueur cherry.
There’s something wild about it. A little unpredictable. That’s what makes it so engaging.
Soft yet structured tannins give it a surprising drink-now appeal, though it’ll reward a bit of patience too.
