Our new Cabernet - Petit Verdot is a 50:50 blend in which the varieties walk together; hand in hand, two-by-two. Their friendship is apparent in the seamlessness, complexity and great length exhibited in this wine.
AROMA: A full bodied wine with concentrated fruit flavour and good structure.
PALATE: The flavours are of black currant, blueberry, black jubes, and maraschino cherry with hints of choc mint, bay leaf and bitter chocolate. The palate is tight with good acidity and noticeable gravelly tannin that combine to give the wine the classic drying structure one expects from these varieties. A wine that will undoubtedly reward those who cellar it.
