Bright. Bold. Unapologetically original.
A Happs Original
Born in 1983 from a bold idea and a few barrels of red grapes, Fuchsia rewrote the rules on how wine could look, feel and taste. It’s vibrant. It’s sweet. It’s sparkling. And it’s been winning over hearts for four decades.
There’s nothing else like it. And that’s exactly how we like it.
Tasting Notes
Aroma
Perfumed and playful. Think roses, strawberry, fairy floss and fruit salad, with whispers of lychee, pear and fruit tingles.
Palate
Bright berry flavours balanced with soft acidity and a gentle grip from red grape skins. A hint of natural fizz cleanses the palate and lifts the aromas, making every sip feel like a celebration.

Why Fuchsia?
FAQs
Is Fuchsia a rosé?
Kind of – but with a Happs twist. It’s sweet, fruity and lightly sparkling. We like to think of it as its own category.
Is it good with food?
Absolutely. Fuchsia shines with spicy Asian dishes, fruity desserts or even a salty snack platter.
How long does it last once opened?
Keep it sealed and chilled, and you’ll get 3–5 days of freshness. But honestly, it rarely lasts that long.
Can I age it?
There’s no need – Fuchsia is made to be enjoyed young, fresh and full of life. But if you do decide to stash a few bottles away, you’ll be rewarded. It holds up beautifully, developing more complexity while keeping its signature charm.
What’s the alcohol content?
Fuchsia sits at a low 9.9% ABV. That means it’s lighter, more sessionable and perfect for long lunches, lazy afternoons and spontaneous celebrations.
Is it vegan?
Yes – no animal products are used in our fining process.
How fizzy is it?
Just enough to tickle the tongue. The natural fizz is gentle and refreshing, not overpowering.
