Bring your picnic rug and join us for a magical evening of holiday tunes as the sun sets behind the stunning amphitheatre at Happs Winery. Performed by a piano quintet of some of Australia's finest young musicians, this concert will feature some beautiful and well-known selections from the standard classical repertoire and of course your favourite jazzy Christmas songs.

Meet The Musicians

Liam Wooding

Liam Wooding hails from, New Zealand where his love of the piano was fostered at an early age in primary school. After initial piano studies in New Zealand, he furthered his education at the Australian National Academy of Music, and in the United States as a Fulbright Scholar. He collaborates with a range of artists and chamber music groups, most recently soprano Stephanie Acraman, percussionist Timothy
Constable, and ensembles including the NZTrio, Ad-Lib Collective, and Arcadia
Winds.

Jared Yapp

Jared is a composer, violist, and concert curator who is passionate about bringing people together through transformational artistic experiences. He is also a member of the Ad Lib Collective, a group of
musicians who are focused on performance creation, community engagement and collaboration with a wide variety of artists. 

Meg Cohen

Meg is a violinist with a multi-faceted practice. Having completed Bachelor (Hons) and Masters degrees at the Sydney Conservatorium, she relocated to Naarm/Melbourne to study at the Australian National Academy of Music. As an in-demand freelance musician, Meg now performs regularly with the
Melbourne Chamber and Symphony Orchestras, Genesis Baroque, Inventi Ensemble, and the Australian Haydn Ensemble, among many others.

Jeremy Garside

Jeremy Garside moved to New Zealand earlier this year to take up the position of Associate Principal Cello with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, and has been acting as Principal Cello since he arrived. Before moving to Christchurch he regularly performed with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, after training at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) under Howard Penny.

Alex Isted

Alex Isted is a violinist who studied at the Royal College of Music in London. She is currently the Principal First Violin in the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and has performed with many prestigious orchestras worldwide. As a chamber musician, she has performed in quartets at various festivals and venues.
