Crémant is a traditional French name given to sparkling wines made outside the famous Champagne wine area that still utilize the traditional Champenoise method. As such, we thought it the perfect name for our traditional method sparkling wines. We're excited to announce that our new sparkling wine, a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, now replaces our previous Crémant Chenin Chardonnay, taking the best of both styles. The term 'Crémant' literally translates to 'creamy,' and this beautifully reflects the creamy mouthfeel of this wine.
AROMA: A beautifully lifted aroma of pear, white peach, and citrus from the Chardonnay, intertwined with floral aromatics and subtle strawberry notes from the Pinot Noir. Hints of brioche and pastry add complexity.
PALATE: The palate is elegant and nuanced, showcasing flavors of pear, white peach, and citrus, complemented by strawberry and delicate red fruit notes. The Pinot Noir contributes a floral elegance, while two years of maturation on yeast lees imparts notes of brioche, croissant, and shortbread. The mouthfeel is lively yet creamy, with fine, persistent bubbles and a refreshing, lingering acidity.
