The Three Hills vineyard where our Shiraz is grown is located in the southern extremity of the Margaret River appellation. In the far south western corner of Western Australia climatic circumstances are driven by the almost unchanging temperatures of the oceans that make up more than two thirds of the surface area of the southern hemisphere. Consequently, the expression of the Shiraz variety that we see in Three Hills is different to anything else in Australia.
AROMA: An attractive aroma displaying both fruit and complexity from bottle age which combined is quite seductive. The aromatics are blueberry, plum, rhubarb and truffle with notes of stewed fruit, charcuterie and white pepper.
PALATE: A medium to full bodied wine with elegance, intensity and complexity. The palate has an abundance of flavour and displays raspberry, beetroot, cherry and dark fruits with hints of earth, new leather, dark chocolate and rosemary. The palate has great persistence and finishes with silky soft tannin.
VARIETY: 100% Shiraz.
